DeJuan Ford

DeJuan Ford is a Detroit-born actor, producer, and entrepreneur who has become a rising force in independent film.After earning a degree in finance and starting out as a cable technician turned entrepreneur, he transitioned into film, founding Faim Film Entertainment and building a strong presence with projects now streaming on platforms like Tubi.

 

Known for his roles and productions in urban dramas and thrillers such as Undying Love, First Lady 2: Maria’s Revenge, and Trapped in Temptation, Ford also dedicates himself to uplifting his community through The Anthony Taylor Foundation, which mentors and supports at-risk youth in Detroit.

 

Guided by his philosophy of “collaboration over competition,” he continues to use his work to inspire others while balancing life as a husband and father.

Lena Jenkins-Smith

Lena Jenkins-Smith is an Emmy-nominated executive producer and entrepreneur with over 18 years of experience working alongside some of Hollywood’s elite. With multiple degrees in business management, psychology, and liberal studies, along with continued studies in Film & TV Essentials at NYU, she has built a career that blends artistry with strategy. Skilled in production, branding, and stage design, Lena has delivered award-winning work while amplifying the reach and impact of every project she touches. Beyond her professional success, she is deeply passionate about storytelling and empowering the next generation, using her talents to create experiences that inspire, resonate, and leave a lasting mark.

Luc  Stephen

Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and raised in Boston before migrating to New York, Luc Stephen is a multifaceted creator, writer, producer, and director. He began his journey in the entertainment industry in 2007 with a role in BET's series "American Gangster," later serving as a consultant for the show. In 2012, he founded Second Chance Enterprises, focusing on film production.

Luc has produced several notable films, including "Sin" (2024), a psychological thriller featuring Academy Award winner Louis Gossett Jr., and "Better Than My Last," starring Hassan Johnson. He has also worked on documentaries such as "The Supreme Truth" executive produced by Mike Tyson, and Irv Gotti, and "Born to Box," with Curtis Scoon as executive producer. His directorial debut, "Self Destruction," and co-directing role in "C.R.E.A.M." showcase his versatility in filmmaking.

Denise Mone't

Award Winning Actress | Director | Producer

Denise Mone’t is a native of Houston, Tx. She is a writer, director, producer, and actress. She has directed 20 independent feature films and several can be streamed on Tubi, peacock and Amazon prime.

 

Denise started her own production company back in 2014 called Purple Hart Productions. This was inspired by Comedian Kevin Hart who she is a huge fan of. She is also inspired by greats like Angela Basset, Issa Rae, Shonda Rhimes and Ava Duvernay.

 

Denise is a Christian, a mother and educator. She wants to create opportunities for anyone who has the passion for film in the independent film industry by creating films and tv series right here in Houston, Texas.

Award Winning Screenwriter | Director | Producer

Robert Slocum

Robert Slocum Actor/award winning screenwriter/playwright/best-selling author/Director/producer Born and raised in the inner city of Atlanta, Georgia, Slocum was discovered by Antwan “Big Boi” Patton of the legendary duo OUTKAST!

 

Slocum is the CEO of Eyes Glued Productions, specializing in film and television. Slocum is also the CEO for the nonprofit “SHOOT FILMS, NOT PEOPLE INITIATIVE” helping those in at risk communities put down their real guns and to pick his prop guns in film. Slocum is best known for writing and co-producing the Dame Dash directed film “The Prince of Detroit” which has won a number of film festival awards.

 

Robert Slocum is working hard to become one of the greatest filmmakers of his generation and to spark the minds of the next generation. Be on the look out for his critically acclaimed film “MORAL ENEMIES” based on Human Trafficking.

Johnathan Williams

Jonathan Daniel Williams is a Director, Producer, and Cinematographer with a growing slate of feature films, documentaries, and television projects. He is the director of the highly anticipated As Above So Below starring Katt Williams, the upcoming holiday release The First Holiday (2025), and has created hit reality series including Timbos 2 Stilettos and Snooping for Love.

His credits also include the holiday feature A Match Made in Heaven (2024) and the award-winning documentary I Am John Gabbana (2022), which earned the NBCUniversal Black Experience Award. As a cinematographer, Williams has worked on films such as MatchMade (2023), Hood Riches (2023), and Savage Revenge (2022), while also directing the visual EP RAD (2022) and the music series City Uncensored (2024).

With more than 600 episodes of television across major platforms including NBC, BET, Fox, AllBlk, Peacock, AppleTV, Tubi, and Amazon Prime, Williams has built a reputation for delivering bold, impactful stories. Through his company, Goldstrand Media, he continues to set a high standard in Atlanta’s thriving film and television scene.

Jason C. Louder

Jason C. Louder is an acclaimed actor, teacher, coach, and producer best known for roles in BMF (STARZ), Black Lightning (CW), and Wu-Tang: An American Saga (Hulu), with work spanning stage, film, TV, and national campaigns. A native of Atlanta, he has appeared in over 30 stage productions, 40 indie films, and is celebrated for his character “Babatunde the Griot,” which inspires students across Georgia. Expanding into producing, Jason develops projects that amplify underrepresented voices, including Pretty For A Big GURL, A Match Made in Heaven, and the Afro-futuristic Dragonborn. With a passion for compelling, truth-driven storytelling, Jason continues to create and collaborate with visionary artists on projects for major networks, streaming platforms, and live audiences.

Schelle Purcell

Schelle Purcell is a multi-talented actor, writer, director, comedian, and youth advocate from Gulfport, MS, now based in Atlanta, known for her dynamic presence both on-screen and online with millions of views across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. She gained widespread recognition for her breakout role as “Gloria” in Tyler Perry’s global Netflix hit STRAW and her recurring role as “Adeline Loggins” in ABC’s Women of the Movement, which earned multiple NAACP Image Award nominations. Her diverse credits include TV series such as Found (NBC), NCIS: New Orleans (CBS), Walker (CW), Atlanta (FX), and films like The Underdoggs (Amazon Prime), Hot Girl Winter (Tubi), and Twisted House Sitter 2 (Tubi).

Schelle has also written and directed her own independent films, performs stand-up comedy at top venues, and is the CEO of On Your Feet, a nonprofit supporting teen parents, while creating her own culinary brand, Southern Girl Savors. Her versatility, comedic timing, and dedication to community empowerment continue to make her a rising force in entertainment.

Reece Odum

Award winning Actress & Producer, Reece Odum, is an Atlanta native, who has worked alongside some of the heavy hitters in Hollywood's film and television industry. She is best known for her roles on the hit tv shows Tyler Perry’s Divorced Sistas, BMF, Kold x Windy Saints and Sinners, and The Vampire Diaries. Her work can be seen on Starz, BET, Peacock, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime and many more. She was also highlighted on Variety.com for her role as Jasmine Banks in the new film, The Life of Me.

 

After living in Los Angeles for several years she chose to move back to Atlanta and while continuing to pursue her dream, in 2018 she created an actor's workshop Connecting the Dots to Becoming an Actor and she offers actors individual coaching. 


Reece saw the need to help aspiring actors of all ages learn the business of acting, as well as the craft, to better prepare them for the entertainment industry. While acting is her first love, she has always been very passionate about making a difference in her community.

Anthony Clark

Anthony Clark is an award-winning film producer, author, publisher, mentor, and public speaker, and the visionary owner of Three C Publishing, A C Entertainment, and Three C Studios. A man of deep faith, Anthony centers his life and work around his spirituality, striving to fulfill his God-given purpose while empowering others to reach their full potential.

His body of work includes three acclaimed films—On Our Way Up, Zone 6, and Hidden Lies—each honored and featured at the Hollywood Black Film Festival.
